Metformin has been shown to help maintain weight loss in conjunction with Semaglutide or Tirzepatide.
What Is Metformin?
Metformin was developed as a type two diabetes drug and has been commonly prescribed in the U.S. for the treatment of the condition since 1995. It is a drug that releases an enzyme to work in two fundamental ways: it may allow cells to respond more effectively to insulin and absorb glucose from the blood.
Metformin is not a first-line product to treat obesity, but it is able to hasten the process of fat burning at the same time while helping to lower the sugar level in the blood.
How Can Metformin Cause Weight Loss?
The relationship between metformin and weight is unclear, but several theories provide possible explanations for weight fluctuations. Metformin may lower hunger cues, may change the appetite center of the brain, and may reverse metabolic changes that usually happen with age.

FAQ:
Common side effects may include (this is not a complete list of side effects and others may occur): low blood sugar, nausea, upset stomach or diarrhea.
Metformin is an oral medication taken once or twice daily, dose is determined on a patient by patient basis.
Metformin can be taken along with Tirzepatide or Semaglutide.
We recommend starting Metformin once you have reached your weight loss goal.
